Vanderploeg-Edgerly Scholarship (Calvin College) In 1989 Chelona (Vanderploeg) Edgerly, and her husband Dave, created and endowed this scholarship offered at Calvin College. The scholarship funds students majoring in psychology, social work or sociology and requires them to do independent study in Children's Recovery from Sexual Abuse. Edgerly and Edgerly Untaming Scholarships Chelona and Dave Edgerly fund one student in each Untaming Program with reduced or waived fees for participation. The scholarship is awarded based on financial need, motivation for change and growth and commitment to advancing women. Also, this scholarship funds reduced or waived fees for Untaming Programs offered to community and non-profit women's organizations and educational institutions.
